well it's been since January I updated this blog last... well now I am 8 months pregnant, geesh time goes by so quickly! In March we got to go visit our families in California for two weeks which was not long enough as usual, but still fun until we got the stomach flu days before we were leaving and Benji got it the night before his birthday, which ended up in an ER trip! So Ray has to lose 16 lbs by Oct 1st or he is out of the CG. He had to drop 8 lbs last night and did it a very yucky way! Anyway, so keep your thoughts for us with these new lifestyle changes. Beautiful day and we found 3 caches!This was at Rotary Park. As you walk through it there are signs about the local flora. We learned about "Devil's Club", which was one of the plants Ray learned about on his survivor school for the CG. So it was cool, Benji and I got to see that too. So yesterday we went to Anchorage on a C-130 CG plane, which wasn't as bad as everyone said it was, or we just got lucky with low turbulence for once! Better than flying the damn Era planes.. We went for a drive down to Bells Flats. Stopped in the local coffeehouse called "Java Flats" and had some yummy sandwhiches. So today we went offroading, well literally we swerved back and forth till our car went off the side of the road into alot of snow. so now i have a staph infection too on my face, opposite side as last time. the doc gave me antibiotics for 10 days and hopefully that will clear it up without me having to get cut again. i told him i don't want to look like Frankenstein. so I'm being positive the meds will help this quick! i wish i had an immune system like my hubby, who bounces back quick. hopefully Benji will be like ray!
